PRP
Obtained from drawing your own blood and spinning it in a machine called a centrifuge. This process causes the red blood cells to drop to the bottom of the test tube, leaving the plasma rich platelets at the top. These plasma rich platelets release growth factors and cytokines which are needed by the body to help regenerate tissue and promote healing and repair.

Trigger Point Injections
Here at Great Life Medical, we are proud to offer trigger point injections for patients struggling with fibromyalgia, tension headaches, myofascial pain, and muscle pain in the arms, legs, lower back and neck.
During your appointment, we will locate the area where you are experiencing pain and inject small amounts of anesthetic and steroid to help alleviate your symptoms.
This procedure is safe and has very low risk of possible complications. You may experience soreness or numbness at the injection site for a temporary period of time. While you should avoid strenuous activity for a few days, you should be able to actively use your muscles immediately following treatment.

IV Therapy
At Great Life Medical, we are pleased to offer IV therapies to our patients. We offer a wide range of treatments, from simple hydration to more customized therapies, including unique combinations of vitamins and minerals. We tailor each IV therapy session to the individual, depending on their needs and existing conditions.
The primary benefit of IV therapy is that it delivers the needed products directly to the bloodstream. Rather than waiting for nutrients to be absorbed through the digestive system, our patients can quickly receive them where the body will actually utilize them. Most therapies take between 15 and 30 minutes to administer, and we even have some patients come in on their lunch breaks!

B12 Injections
(Hydroxocobalamin or Cyanocobalamin)
B12 is used to boost metabolism and mood and can help with a variety of problems such as “brain fog” and nerve conduction.

Cold Laser Therapy
Involves the application of low-power coherent light to injuries to increase the speed, quality and strength of tissue repair. The lasers stimulate healing, reduce inflammation and relieve pain.

Kinesiotaping
Using tape to facilitate proper healing of muscles and joints by increasing circulation, decreasing pain, improving proprioception and changing brain patterns to injured areas.

Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health and well-being. There are many types of massage therapy methods (also called modalities). People seek massage therapy for a variety of reasons; for example, to reduce stress and anxiety, to relax muscles, to rehabilitate injuries, to reduce pain and to promote overall health and wellness.
Massage therapy has been growing in popularity among chiropractors. Many chiropractors have their “in-house” massage therapist to work alongside. The benefits of working together on musculoskeletal issues not only quickens the treatment time but also has longer lasting effects. While chiropractors focus more on the musculoskeletal issues, massage therapists can assist with soft tissue and muscle issues.

Myofascial Cupping
Soft tissue therapy used since the 19th century. Cupping encourages healing by creating facial glide to increase fluid movement (decrease edema) and increase nutrient-rich blood supply to the injured area.

Spinal Decompression
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive mechanical procedure performed within our office to help alleviate back pain. It involves gently stretching the spine to take pressure off the spinal discs (the cushions that separate the vertebrae in the spine). By relieving this pressure, bulging discs can retract back into place which takes pressure off the nerves in the spine. By decompressing the spine, it permits water, oxygen and other fluids to work their way back into the discs allowing them to heal naturally. Spinal decompression is an excellent option for anyone with chronic back pain who wants to get back to living a pain-free life as quickly as possible. Please call our office today (562) 498-4455.
